Most Commonly Missed Items in Pre-Race Tech.

Hello racers! Here are some of the most commonly missed items in pre-race tech.

• Junior racers- you can NOT run a senior body.
• Fuel lines- all must be secured using a zip tie or something similar.
• Header bolts- must be secured with safety wire or double nutted.
• Exhaust- mufflers must be safety wired or attached with another mechanical device. Header wrap and a brace are required.
• Chain Guard Extension- must be wide enough to cover chain and must extend to back of axle.
• Transponder- must be vertically attached to the front of the left nerf bar. Must use a pouch if being rented from the club.
• Weights- must be double nutted, white in color and with kart number on it.
• Front End- all parts attached to the steering system must be cotter pinned, safety wired or clipped.
• Brakes- rotors must be secured with mechanical locking nut (not nylon locking), cotter pinned, twisted wire or clipped. Any other part attached to the brake system must be cotter pinned, safety wired or clipped. Must have a wolf plate.
• Safety Gear- All safety gear and helmets must be approved by John Latte.
