A rule change proposal has been received. The proposal is for the removal of Article VII, Section 11: Drivers must race in at least 3 races prior to the 6th race event in order to compete in that class for the rest of the season. This does not apply to racers moving up ex JR1 to JR2 or JR to SR, or new members or non-members. JR club member racers that have not become new members after the start of the current season may race in their respective class being scored and entered into lineups following the same guidelines as a non-member if they do not meet the 3 of the first 6 races restriction.
The proposal is for the complete removal of the rule. Voting will take place at the June club meeting. I will have a list of members who are eligible to vote.
